The rules
For grown-ups: Terms of use
The main things
- Edlumo is for practising and learning.
- A grown-up made your account. They agreed to the rules for you.
- Keep your PIN or password secret.
- Be fair. Only look at your own work.
- You can stop whenever you want.
Your account
Your school, your tutor, or a grown-up at home made your account.
You cannot buy anything here. If you want a new subject, you can ask your grown-up for it.
Keep it secret
Your PIN or password is just for you.
Do not tell your friends. Only tell a grown-up who looks after you.
If you think someone knows it, tell your teacher or grown-up. They can give you a new one.
Be fair
- Only sign in as yourself.
- Do your own work. Mistakes are fine. They help you learn.
- Do not try to break the app, or to see other people’s work.
If you find something that looks broken, tell a grown-up. That helps us fix it.
You can stop
You never have to keep going. There are no prizes for playing longer.
Take a break whenever you want. Your work is saved.
If something worries you
Tell a grown-up you trust, like a parent, carer or teacher.
Nobody can message you on Edlumo. If someone says they are messaging you from here, it is not us. Tell a grown-up.
There is a longer version of these rules for grown-ups: the terms of use.
